Jaume Ros Income Streams Broken Down

Income Stream Number One: Clicks (His New SEO Tool)

1.43% Of His Income

Clicks.so is Jaume’s newest SEO tool, and it is his most minor income stream—however, that is mainly because it’s new.

He was inspired to make a more affordable option for people than most SEO sites (like SEMRUSH & AHREFS).

If you’re someone who has a site that you want to grow through SEO, go check that tool out here.

Income Stream Number Two: Sponsors

3% Of His Income

The second one is sponsors. If he wanted to, he could probably make much more off of this income stream; however, he’s very selective with whom he chooses to sponsor.

He only advertises sponsors that he’s used and finds useful. This is something I would recommend if you’re able to grow an audience that trusts you. People can sense when a sponsored post is legitimate or if the creator is doing it just to get paid.

Income Stream Number Three: Affiliates

3.2% Of His Income

Next is affiliate income. This is also a modest part of his overall income because he takes the same approach with affiliate offers as he does sponsors. He only promotes a company if he uses them.

Two of the products he recommended are Surfer SEO and SEMrush, which are two quality products when it comes to SEO.

Income Stream Number Four: Selling Of a Website

3.8% Of His Income

This isn’t a recurring income, but it’s income nonetheless.

To focus more on his newer endeavors (like Clicks.so) Jaume sold his travel site new.to (a site dedicated to travel in France.

He explained that this sale didn’t necessarily make him a profit, but he did recoup most of his initial investment, which was a win in his book.

There was a time when people built and sold websites as a business. However, I think Jaume’s focus on getting rid of this one to focus on a tool (as well as a brand) is a great choice.

Income Stream Number Five: YouTube Revenue

7% Of His Income

This income stream surprised Jaume (though it didn’t take me by surprise) as he didn’t expect YouTube to generate significant revenue so quickly.

I believe Jaume deserves every penny he earns from YouTube, primarily because of his dedication and the quality of content he delivers. His ability to engage viewers with insightful and educational material indicates his expertise in the SEO field. Moreover, the increase in revenue is a testament to his growing audience base and the value they find in his content.

Jaume’s approach to content creation is thoughtful and methodical, which resonates well with his audience. His videos aren’t just informative; they’re structured to make complex SEO concepts accessible to a broad audience. This accessibility is likely a critical factor in the increased viewer engagement and, subsequently, the higher ad revenue.

Not only that, but the most significant factor is his consistency. If you go on his channel and click his latest videos, the 8 latest videos have been made all within the last 2 months.

Regarding income streams, taking action and consistency trumps everything because you learn what works for your audience and the skills necessary to make a better product.

Outcome goals > Income goals

Income Stream Number Six: SEO Course

9.2% Of His Income

Jaume made an SEO course a year and a half ago called “SEO Mastery (from beginner to expert).” Despite the course’s age, it significantly contributes to his income, accounting for 9.2% of his total earnings.

His strategy of simply sharing content on his platform and including a link to the course in the description of his videos has proven to be highly effective. This approach has enabled him to make a substantial amount of money, leveraging the power of passive income. The course’s enduring popularity can be attributed to several factors.

Income Stream Number Seven: Making Videos For Other Channels

27.2% Of His Income

Because of his expertise, Jaume created a deal with Ahrefs to make videos for them. However, once they found out he was going to be releasing Clicks.so — they decided to delete the videos he created for them.

However, he now makes videos for SEMrush to keep this income stream going.

Income Stream Number Eight: Client Work

45.3% Of His Income

Lastly, Jaume’s most significant source of income, accounting for 45.3% of his total earnings, comes from client work. This segment of his income is broad and encompasses various services, primarily focused on SEO audits and various upsell packages.

Jaume’s approach to client work is multifaceted. He begins with SEO audits, which serve as the foundation for identifying each client’s specific needs and opportunities. These audits are comprehensive, covering various aspects of SEO, from on-page elements to backlink profiles. Jaume can provide tailored advice and strategies by thoroughly assessing a client’s current SEO status.

Once the audit is complete, he offers different packages based on the client’s unique requirements. If a client needs a content plan, Jaume can leverage his expertise to create a detailed and effective strategy. This plan typically includes keyword research, content recommendations, content structure, and SEO optimization guidance. By offering this service, he helps clients improve their online presence and search engine rankings through high-quality, relevant content.

If you’re in a niche where you could possibly get clients, there’s a lot you could take away from this.

The biggest thing is to start with a low offer to get people in the door. Even if they only go with that offer, you still make money. That lower offer gives you the opportunity to make more money though.

Takeaways From Jaume Ros and His Income Streams

Now that we have reviewed his income streams, let’s break everything down and see what could help you with your income streams. Even if you don’t want to make money via SEO, these takeaways could help you build your system of various income streams.

Focus On One Niche

So far, from all of the income streams I’ve made case studies for, I’ve noticed they all have one thing in common. They all have someone that starts with one specific topic. In this case, it’s SEO. Doing this allows you to dive deep into the pain points and problems your audience faces daily, providing tailored and highly relevant solutions.

Leverage Your Expertise

You want to leverage your expertise to the furthest of your ability. Jaume has 8 income streams based on one niche. He has a course, YouTube channel, a tool, and more. No matter what you plan on doing, you want to ensure you fully utilize your knowledge and skills across various platforms and mediums.

For Growth, You Want To Focus On Quality

Jaume probably could’ve made a little bit more money, but if he had done that, maybe his audience wouldn’t have grown as fast. Focusing on quality always pays more in the long run. He carefully chose the sponsors in his videos and the affiliate links he decided to promote.

Productize Your Services:

Jaume shows how service-based businesses can productize offerings by offering SEO audits and customizable packages. This approach can make services more appealing and understandable to potential clients.

Use Content as a Marketing Tool

He also uses his content to market other services and products. This integrated marketing approach can increase the visibility and sales of your offerings without aggressive advertising.

Build resilient Income Streams

Many people out there pitching income streams will show you little tricks to make money in affiliate marketing, only for that gimmick to be patched by a social media update or something along those lines. However, one of the biggest takeaways from Jaume’s income report is the importance of building resilient income streams that can withstand the test of time and changes in technology or market conditions. Jaume’s approach emphasizes value creation through genuine expertise and evergreen content that continues to draw an audience regardless of platform updates. This strategy ensures that your income streams are diverse and durable, as they are rooted in solid SEO practices and provide real solutions to audience needs rather than exploiting short-term loopholes or trends.
